Football Game Preview: Priory Ravens vs. Duchesne Pioneers

The Priory Ravens will challenge the Duchesne Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Priory has given up an average of 37.1 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Priory is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Freeburg on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Ravens took a blow against the Midgets, falling 42-14. The Ravens were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-0.

Meanwhile, Duchesne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 42-6 to Fulton, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Priory's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Duchesne, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything came up roses for Priory against Duchesne in their previous matchup back in September, as the squad secured a 43-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ravens since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
