Basketball Recap: Parma Triumphs

If New Plymouth wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Parma, they should've done a better job of containing Nathan Compas. The Parma Panthers walked away with a 48-41 victory over the New Plymouth Pilgrims on Tuesday thanks in part to Compas, who posted 28 points. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The win got Parma back to even at 2-2. As for New Plymouth, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Parma will take on Marsh Valley in a tournament on Thursday. Parma is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season. New Plymouth will take on Payette in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
