Volleyball Game Preview: Tulare Western Mustangs vs. Atascadero Greyhounds + How To Watch

The Tulare Western Mustangs will head out to take on the Atascadero Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Atascadero took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Tulare Western, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Tulare Western earned a 3-1 victory over Tulare Union.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-17, 25-23.

Maliah Mu?oz was the offensive standout of the match as she had 17 digs and two aces.

Mu?oz wasn't the only good servers: Tulare Western was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Atascadero had taken St. Joseph down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Greyhounds fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2. While the Greyhounds didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 25-21 in the first set.

Atascadero took St. Joseph into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-23, 25-21, 20-25, 15-10.

This is the second loss in a row for Atascadero and nudges their season record down to 24-10. As for Tulare Western, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 14-19.
