With a playoff win on the line, Aquinas Institute rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They snuck past the Mendon Vikings with a 57-53 victory. The Little Irish are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 17 straight.

Aquinas Institute's win bumped their record up to 20-1. As for Mendon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season.

Aquinas Institute will take on Webster Schroeder at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Aquinas Institute's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Mendon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
