Port Gibson came into Thursday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Crystal Springs Tigers 3-0 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Waves also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Port Gibson's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Crystal Springs, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Port Gibson will head out to challenge Jefferson County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The game will give the Blue Waves their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Crystal Springs, they will square off against Loyd Star at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
