Volleyball Recap: Sierra Vista Takes a Loss

Sierra Vista was the 3-0 winner over Silverado when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Mountain Lions fell 2-0 to the Skyhawks on Friday.

Regi Beshiri paced Sierra Vista's offense, picking up 15 kills. Beshiri got some help from Zaihen Arenas-Bailey and his 11 assists. Arenas-Bailey was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Sierra Vista now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Silverado, they moved to 6-10 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Sierra Vista has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Liberty on the 4th. As for Silverado, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Coronado on the 4th.
