Meanwhile, Port St. Lucie got the win against Synergy Magnet K12 on Thursday by a conclusive 20-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

The team relied heavily on Ava Ward, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Mirelis Benito, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Bayside's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Port St. Lucie, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9-2.
