Volleyball Game Preview: Sheridan Rams vs. Bennett Tigers

Sheridan hasn't had much luck against Bennett recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Rams will challenge the Tigers at 10:00 a.m.

Sheridan came up short against The Pinnacle last Thursday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-14, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Bennett made easy work of Platte Canyon on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

While Bennett won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14, 26-24.

Sheridan better focus on containing Kaylonnie Mclaury and Josie Ladd as the pair were huge in Bennett's win. Mclaury had 14 digs and one assist, while Ladd had seven aces, five kills, and four digs. Those seven aces gave Ladd a new career-high.

Sheridan's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Bennett, their record now sits at 7-10.

Sheridan might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Bennett when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
