Pelham is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 67-39 victory over Lincoln County. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 140th, while the Red Devils are ranked 287th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Bowdon had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.7 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 50-26 margin over the Bobcats.

Bowdon's win bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Pelham, their victory bumped their record up to 22-4.
