Basketball Game Preview: Everett Seagulls vs. Snohomish Panthers

The Everett Seagulls will take on the Snohomish Panthers in a holiday battle at at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.

Everett is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 63 points on Friday, they were much more limited against Meadowdale on Monday. They were outmatched by the Mavericks and fell 67-14. The contest marked the Seagulls' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Snohomish hadn't done well against Glacier Peak recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Snohomish put the hurt on Glacier Peak with a sharp 62-42 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Snohomish's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.1 points per game. As for Everett, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Everett didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Snohomish in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 42-36 victory. Will Everett repeat their success, or does Snohomish have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
