Basketball Recap: Norwell Comes Up Short

Norwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 43-36 to the Columbia City Eagles. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 66-50 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Norwell's record now sits at 9-8. As for Columbia City, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Looking ahead, Norwell will head out to square off against Heritage at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbia City, they will host South Bend Riley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Bend Riley will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Columbia City surely won't give up without a fight.
