Baseball Game Preview: Sneads Pirates vs. Marianna Bulldogs

Sneads hasn't had much luck against Marianna recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Sneads will be playing in front of their home fans against Marianna at 6:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Sneads is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Altha.

Sneads saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Traivon Danzey, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Marianna's offense. They fell 3-0 to Florida State University High School on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Torin Clark-Hussey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits.

Marianna's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Sneads, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
