Softball Recap: North White Finds Home Field Redemption Against West Central

There's no place like home for North White, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the West Central Trojans on Saturday. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 12-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Kaylyn Applegate spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on eight hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Raelynn Anliker and Adriann Conn did most of the damage at the plate: Anliker went 1-for-3 with one home run, while Conn went 1-for-3 with one home run.
