Preview: Dooly County Bobcats vs. Telfair County Trojans

Dooly County has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Telfair County Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Dooly County pushed their score all the way to 61 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 69-61 to Perry. That's two games in a row now that Dooly County has lost by exactly eight points.

Meanwhile, Telfair County was the victim of a rough 61-40 loss at the hands of Bleckley County on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Telfair County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 429th, while Bleckley County is ranked 136th).

Despite the loss, Telfair County got a solid performance out of Rodriquez Clay, who scored 17 points.

Dooly County has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Telfair County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-14.

Dooly County didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Telfair County in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 49-43 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Clay, who scored 27 points. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Dooly County still be able to contain Clay?
