Basketball Recap: Argos' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glenn, Argos was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 45-36 victory over the Wheeler Bearcats. The win was some much needed relief for the Dragons as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Argos' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alydiah Leed, who went 5 for 8 on her way to 15 points and three steals. Morgyn Barcus was another key player, putting up 14 points and six assists.

Argos' victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Wheeler, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Argos wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 38-33 loss against Logansport on the 28th. As for Wheeler, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-39 defeat against Northwestern on the 28th.
