Soccer Game Preview: Douglass vs. Stephenson

The Douglass Astros will take on the Stephenson Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Douglass is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Douglass will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Riverdale on Thursday. The Astros came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 4-2.

Meanwhile, Stephenson fell victim to Riverdale and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Raiders, falling 7-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Stephenson haven't been shut out since back in February.

Stephenson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Douglass, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Everything went Douglass' way against Stephenson in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, as Douglass made off with a 5-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Astros since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
