West Aurora waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They took down the Larkin Royals 63-44. This was a revenge game for the Blackhawks: when they faced off against the Royals back in December of 2024, they had to take a 51-43 loss.

West Aurora has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.
