 Pojoaque Valley has enjoyed the comforts of home their last seven games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will  square off against the Espanola Valley Sundevils at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
 Last Wednesday, it was a hard-fought  matchup, but Pojoaque Valley had to settle for  a  4-3 loss against Taos.
  Ernesto Cardenas was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits. Cardenas was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with a  triple and a  run.
 Cardenas wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Andres Trevizo, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Raven Naranjo, who  went 1-for-2 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Espanola Valley fell victim to a  tough 14-4 defeat at the hands of Moriarty  in Saturday's  second game. That's two games in a row now that Espanola Valley has lost by  exactly ten  runs.
 Pojoaque Valley's record now sits at 1-17. As for Espanola Valley, their loss was  their ninth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 4-14.
 Pojoaque Valley couldn't quite finish off Espanola Valley in their previous matchup  back in March and fell  7-5. Can Pojoaque Valley avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
