Soccer Game Preview: Heritage vs. West Valley + How To Watch

The Heritage Patriots will venture away from home to square off against the West Valley Mustangs at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Friday just wasn't the day for Heritage's offense. They came up short against La Sierra on Friday, falling 3-0. Heritage have struggled against La Sierra recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, West Valley's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They never let Chaparral get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The win continues a trend for West Valley in their matchups with Chaparral: they've now won three in a row.

West Valley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Heritage suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to West Valley in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
