Softball Recap: Tracy Extends Road Winning Streak to 11

Tracy's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Lincoln Trojans. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 15 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The result came thanks to Elisa Galli's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Emalee Cargill, who fired off four runs, four doubles, and one stolen base while going 4-for-4. Those four doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Sansaver, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Tracy pushed their record up to 24-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Lincoln, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tracy will square off against rival St. Mary's at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lincoln is set to take on their familiar foe Lodi at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
