Baseball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Pavilion's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Notre Dame typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Pavilion proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged out the Fighting Irish 5-4.

Pavilion has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Notre Dame, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-3.

Looking ahead, Pavilion will head out on the road to challenge Keshequa at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Notre Dame, they will welcome Northstar Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
