Softball Recap: Killeen Comes Up Short

Killeen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 18-2 to the Temple Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 back in March.

Killeen saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was N Hedberg, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Killeen's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Temple, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9-1.

Killeen has already played their next game, a 29-0 defeat against Midway on the 11th. As for Temple, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 13-3 win against Bryan on the 11th.
