Two dominant backs in Turner Milender and Kolten Zurmuehlen are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Superior Bobcats will head out to square off against the Seeley-Swan Blackhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

While Superior's win against Darby wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats had just enough and edged out the Tigers 34-32. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Superior better keep an eye on Quinlan McClure. He was instrumental in Seeley-Swan's win, rushing for 142 yards and three scores. Seeley-Swan didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Cash Schuster, Tully Good, and Zurmuehlen picked up one apiece. Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Superior has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 245.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Seeley-Swan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 254.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
