Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Gunnison Valley walked away with it. They skirted past the Parowan Rams 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Landry Edwards spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Gunnison Valley's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kyler Jensen, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Gunnison Valley's victory bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Parowan, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Gunnison Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-3 loss against Enterprise on the 3rd. As for Parowan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 20-0 win against Water Canyon on the 3rd.
