Baseball Recap: Bayshore Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Bayshore and Bradenton Christian, and Bayshore kept the tradition alive. The Bayshore Bruins fell 4-1 to the Bradenton Christian Panthers on Thursday. The Bruins were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Henrique Perdomo was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double. Kaylam Rodriguez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Bayshore dropped their record down to 3-3 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bradenton Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Coming up, Bayshore will welcome Gibbs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bradenton Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against IMG Academy Navy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
