Basketball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Hamilton challenged Baldwyn on Friday. The Lions lost 66-46 to the Bearcats. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while the Bearcats are ranked 49th).

This is the second loss in a row for Hamilton and nudges their season record down to 7-18. As for Baldwyn, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

Coming up, Hamilton will venture away from home to square off against New Site at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Baldwyn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
