Fairmont entered their tilt with Beavercreek on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 62-37 margin over the Beavercreek Beavers. The Firebirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 23 points or more this season.

Fairmont's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Janiyah Hargrave, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Hargrave a new career-high in boards. Kaylah Thornton was another key player, going 8 of 14 on her way to 17 points and six rebounds.

Fairmont's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Beavercreek, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairmont will challenge Northmont at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday.
