J.D. Terrell gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in February on Tuesday. He struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.

Even though Terrell couldn't lead Chilton County over Calera, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Terrell's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Chilton County's three-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Terrell and Chilton County surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Thursday's match.
