Alvord has gone a perfect 6-0 against Trenton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bulldogs will take on the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Alvord's defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so Trenton's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Alvord is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Nocona: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Bulldogs blew the Indians out of the water with a 62-6 final score. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-0.

Brayden Snider was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 49 yards and three scores, and also caught one touchdown. Another player making a difference was Dalton George, who threw for 90 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Alvord was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 227 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 227 rushing yards in three consecutive games.

Alvord didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jaxon Brown and Rhett Richey.

Meanwhile, Trenton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against Tioga, falling 72-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Alvord now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Trenton, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Alvord against Trenton in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 34-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
