Baseball Game Preview: Marshall Lions vs. Teutopolis Wooden Shoes

Marshall is 0-7 against Teutopolis since May of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Lions will host the Wooden Shoes at 4:30 p.m.

Marshall is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Casey-Westfield, falling 9-2.

Payton McGuire made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Harper, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Teutopolis waltzed into their game on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Greenwave.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Teutopolis, their victory bumped their record up to 19-2.
