Volleyball Recap: Novato Takes a Loss

Novato suffered their biggest loss since March 11th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Redwood Giants, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Giants: they've now lost six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-14.

Novato's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Redwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Novato will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on San Rafael at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Redwood, they will host Archie Williams at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Giants are facing the Peregrine Falcons at the right time seeing as the Peregrine Falcons are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
