Volleyball Recap: Miller Grove's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Miller Grove waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Redan Raiders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Miller Grove took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-9.

Their offense was headlined by Payton Black and Taylor-Raye Evering, who picked up three kills apiece. Evering really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with four. Black was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Miller Grove's record now sits at 22-4. As for Redan, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Coincidentally, Miller Grove and Redan will both be playing Salem the next time they take the court. The Wolverines will head out to face the Seminoles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Raiders will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
