Basketball Recap: Vanoss Gets the Win

The Vanoss Wolves didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Hydro-Eakly Bobcats on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 59-55 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Vanoss' win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Hydro-Eakly, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6.

Coming up, Vanoss will take on Konawa at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.44 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hydro-Eakly, they will challenge Geary at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bison have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
