Basketball Recap: Jordan Gray Key Part of a Team Effort in Highlanders Win

North Eugene won the last time they faced Eagle Point and things went their way on Friday too. The North Eugene Highlanders managed a 64-58 victory over the Eagle Point Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Highlanders.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Eugene to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Gray, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine boards. Gray's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Damon Keith was another key player, going 6 of 11 en route to 15 points and six rebounds.

North Eugene's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Eagle Point, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Eugene has already played their next game (against Springfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Eagle Point will venture away from home to square off against Ashland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
