Salesian College Preparatory had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They won by a run and slipped past the San Rafael Bulldogs 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pride.

DeAmor Coleman was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over seven innings pitched. Coleman was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base.

Salesian College Preparatory lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March.

Salesian College Preparatory's record is now 17-6. As for San Rafael, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-12.
