Volleyball Recap: Wind River Comes Up Short

Wind River extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 1-21. They came up short against the Kemmerer Rangers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-2 defeat last Friday.

As for Kemmerer, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-28 record this season. The matchup marked their most dominant win of the season.

Leading Kemmerer to victory were Brinley Backman and Ashlyn Riding. Backman had nine digs and two aces, while Riding had 11 digs and one assist. Riding is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Wind River does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kemmerer, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Rocky Mountain on the 1st.
