Basketball Recap: New Mexico Military Institute Takes a Loss

New Mexico Military Institute lost against Eunice back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The New Mexico Military Institute Colts fell to the Eunice Cardinals 45-39. The contest marked the Colts' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for New Mexico Military Institute and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Eunice, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

New Mexico Military Institute won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Jal at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Eunice, they and Magdalena will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
