It was a good run, but Castle View unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Arvada West Wildcats. The Sabercats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
Castle View was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Arvada West work for it, especially in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 14-25, 27-25.
Castle View's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Arvada West, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-9.
Coming up, Castle View will take on Basalt in a tournament on Saturday. Arvada West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
