Basketball Recap: Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons vs. North Polars
Robbinsdale Armstrong kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the North Polars by a score of 67-65. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Polars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
North's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alex Rodrigues, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 18 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Duke King, who had 20 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Robbinsdale Armstrong will head out to square off against St. Louis Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Harding at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
