Softball Recap: West Jefferson Roughriders vs. Licking Heights Hornets

West Jefferson took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Licking Heights Hornets a 12-0 shutout.

Jenna Mannon was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Mannon was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
