Roosevelt and South St. Paul squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Roosevelt had to settle for second. They were beaten by the South St. Paul Packers 102-69. The Teddies' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Roosevelt's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Obie E Esparza, who posted 11 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Alexander, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for South St. Paul, they moved to 9-14 with that win, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Roosevelt nor South St. Paul have any future games scheduled.
