Baseball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Hibriten's Winning Streak

It was a proper cat-fight when Hibriten duked it out with Alexander Central on Tuesday. The Panthers fell 7-3 to the Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 back in March.

The defeat snapped Hibriten's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-7 record. As for Alexander Central, their record is now 11-8.

The Spartans will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Alexander Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Freedom at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
