Basketball Game Preview: Bad Axe Hatchets vs. Ubly Bearcats + How To Watch

The Bad Axe Hatchets will head out on the road to challenge the Ubly Bearcats at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bad Axe can't be too happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Monday. They were beaten by International Academy 67-35. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Meanwhile, Ubly played a tough matchup on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Caro, falling 73-49. The defeat continues a trend for the Bearcats in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Bad Axe came up short against Ubly when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 62-57. Can the Hatchets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
