Basketball Recap: Noble Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Crooked Oak, Noble was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-42 victory over the Destiny Christian Wildcats. The 45-point effort marked the Bears' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Noble's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Destiny Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Noble and Carl Albert will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Destiny Christian will take on Hoops for Christ in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Destiny Christian is facing Hoops for Christ at the right time seeing as Hoops for Christ is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
