Baseball Recap: Plain Dealing Takes a Loss

Plain Dealing lost against Haynesville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Plain Dealing came up short against Haynesville, falling 11-2. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Plain Dealing's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Haynesville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Plain Dealing Lions take on Simsboro Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Simsboro has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.58 runs per game on average), something Plain Dealing will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Haynesville, they will take on Union Parish at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
