Hilliard Davidson had to endure an 11-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Bishop Ready Silver Knights by a score of 40-28 on Saturday. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Hilliard Davidson to victory were Chloe Crawford and Sophie Onderak. Crawford went 5 for 7 on her way to 11 points, while Onderak posted nine points.

Despite the loss, Bishop Ready had strong showings from Lia Wahl, who went 6 of 14 en route to 15 points along with six boards and three steals, and Jenna Wolf, who put up eight points and seven rebounds. Wahl is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season.

Hilliard Davidson's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Bishop Ready, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
