Soccer Recap: Lake City vs. Conway
After flying high against Marion last Tuesday, Lake City came back down to earth. The Lake City Panthers lost 8-0 to the Conway Tigers on Friday. Considering the last time Lake City couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.
Lake City has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9-1 record this season. As for Conway, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.
Lake City will head out on the road to challenge Brookland-Cayce at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Lake City is facing Brookland-Cayce at the right time seeing as Brookland-Cayce is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Conway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
