The Longmont Trojans will square off against the Frederick Golden Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Longmont is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Frederick will be up against a hot Longmont team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Longmont never let Thomas Jefferson get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Tuesday. Claire Sebring had to tread lightly for part of the match after she was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Trojans got from the refs.

Sebring and Kylissa Kirk scored both of Longmont's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, Frederick managed to keep up with Erie until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Frederick came up short against Erie, falling 6-0. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Longmont's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Frederick, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Longmont might still be hurting after the 5-1 defeat they got from Frederick when the teams last played back in March of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Longmont was down 4-1.
