State records fell in Florida and California, but it was a pair of running backs who broke the 6,000-yard milestone who highlight this week's MaxPreps National Player of the Year Watch.

Damien Harris of Madison Southern ran for 321 yards last week to go over 6,000 yards, while Jacques Patrick of Timber Creek rushed for 320 yards to put him over 6,000.

Also in Florida, Tucker Israel of Lake Nona broke a pair of state passing records while Folsom's Jake Browning broke a state record in California for the third week in a row.
