Softball Recap: Pendleton County Comes Up Short

Pendleton County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 13-4 to the Barren County Trojans.

Pendleton County's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Barren County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Coming up, Pendleton County will look to defend their home field on Monday against Highlands at 5:00 p.m. As for Barren County, they will venture away from home to face off against East Jessamine at 11:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
